Proof That Atheist are Afraid....
The follow was found a blog site called Spanish Inquisitor. This is more proof that the Atheist Regime is running out of thoughts and misread facts. They are now turning to a more comic approach to make them seem less anti-everything and more fun( no joke intended but this is a pretty stupid thing to photo shop).
One More Day!(Tennessee V.S. Cal.)
Enough talk guys! Tennessee football is going down in just under 24 hours. We are not going to back down. We have traveled to Cal and are now looking to take them back down the long and lonely ride they were on last year. Vols lets have some mercy on them. Not. Enough talk about the broken pinky of Eric Ainge that happened playing Basketball(no joke don't believe what you heard).Leave the receivers alone. you will see them tomorrow. I predict a win alot like last year.I say a nice 31 to 13 victory for the mighty Vols! Call me on it

Mother Teresa is Disrespected
After 66 years of hardcore, dedicated service to the cause of Christ Mother Teresa died(ten years ago). This was a woman who didn't have alot in life because she had sacrificed it all to God. The only thing she asked when she was dying was that her letters she had written over the period of her 66 year long servitude be destroyed. Did she get it...No!
What she got was that the church held onto her letters and made a book out of them. They say that it will help people to better understand her and her work.
Some letter are letters that she has written where she questions here faith. Atheist are having a field day with that. He is some news to you. Every one questions their faith. Everybody will come to points in their lives where they will say they have doubts. They would be lying to sya they don't. We still have to seek answers. We need to be reassured. He would be nice if we didn't but we do. We have to study the Bible so we can see how God works and learn to look for Him in nature, objects, people, places, in everything we can find Him.
So what if she questioned her own faith from time to time. She still stayed true and continued to work for God, speak of God, show His love, and all that other jazz that most of who call our lives Christian lives never learn to do. Questioning our faith can actually do us good. We can sometimes learn how small we really are, how little we understand, to dig deeper for the answers, lead to more prayer which is always a great things, lead to more reading of our Bible, and a revival of our faith.
Just because she was considered a "Super-Christian" by many changes nothing. She was still human and still dealt with alot of the same doubts that we do. She just learned to over come them. It is wrong for us not honor her wishes and destroy the letters. Wrong in all ways. Shame on us.

Fight Fair-(from premarial counseling)
Okay so last night was the last session of counseling for me and my soon to be wife. We covered three subjects and instead of putting both into one post why not spread it out. The topics that were presented to us were fighting, right thinking, and sex. Well you can look at the topics and see why they would each need to be discussed. So for now we are going to do fair fighting.
What does it mean to fight fair? You hear this boxing and growing up may have heard it a little in school. So what does it mean to fight fair with your wife/husband? I means to fight for today. A fair fight is not a fight with things that happened yesterday, last week, last year, or anytime besides today. Alot of people have a mental set post-its and when ever something is said or done they will mark it down ad store it for later. We fill up the gun with has many bullets we can fit into it before the big fight. Why? We are asking for a big big fight.
When you husband or wife does something that is not all that likable to you(and they will) you have to address it that day or let it go. Now that doesn't mean that you have to fight in the middle of a restaurant. That means you should look them and say,"I know you love me but what you just said really hurt my feelings. When we go home we should talk about this."
It is not that hard to do. Most of the time it is habit to hold in our thoughts of how we feel. For us guys it is even tougher. We are suppose to be macho men! We have to realize that our women see us as their big softies. We should feel up that roll. Now don't worry guys they also see us as their rocks, protectors, and all that other strong guy stuff. They want you to be able to tell them what is bothering you and not do it in three weeks over her not filling up the gas tank. Women the huffing and puffing for two days doesn't help. We need to know what is going on with you. You have to let us when we hurt you. Don't get in front of us during Saturday's game and remind us of all our failed attempts to start home projects and then our personal faults.
Fighting should be fair and that means for us to fight about an event that happened today and not any other day. Let the bullets go. Your fights will be over a lot faster. There are tons of books on healthy fights. Go and read one some time. It will really help your marriage.

Three in one and all the same? What?
The Trinity. If there was ever a more confusing aspect of God I do not know of it. However I think we make it to complex. Below you will see three examples of things that I have found/thought of that make it a little more common and maybe easier to see how it works. No this is still a confusing subject so don't worry if you don't get it. I don't most of the time.
1. Michael Jordan
2. Time
3. 3 in 1 printers.
Now lets see how we can relate them to the way the Trinity works...
1. Michael Jordan. This man played basketball. He also played baseball, and yes he even plays golf. Now when he played basketball he was Michael Jordan. Baseball? Michael Jordan. Golf? Michael Jordan. He expressed himself in three different ways. That however never changed the fact that he is M.J.. He doesn't change who he is just because he has different ways he can work.
2. Time. We have time in three forms. Past, present, and future. Just like Michael all three are time but they exist in an entirely different way. They each are used to measure time. We refer to past experiences, things we deal with today, or tomorrow as the same element. Time. God was manifest into the flesh(Jesus), remained in heaven(God the Father), and lives inside of us(the Holy Ghost). All three are God just expresses in different ways.
3. 3 in 1 printers. Same concept as number one and number 2. The printer will preform in three different modes, printer, copier, and scanner. This changes nothing. It is still a printer. God died on the cross, governs all things from heaven, and stays with us. That changes nothing. He is still God.
Now all three of these point to the same answer and are not that in depth theology you were probably hoping for but it really helped me to understand it a little more once I saw that working in three separate forms but still be the same is not all that uncommon. Hopefully it may have helped you too.

I am a Baptist, therefore, I would really like to know what the persons of First Baptist Church of Romeoville were thinking when they asked “convicted child sex offender” Jeff Hannah to “step into the pulpit until a replacement was hired” and “served in that role for three years and ever since has been a fill-in preacher, teacher and music minister at the church.”

We are to Blame
“In general, higher rates of belief in worship of a creator correlate with higher rates of homicide, juvenile and early adult mortality,STD infection rates,teen pregnancy, and abortion in prosperous democracies.”
This was published last year by The Journal of Religion And Society, and in American Scientific. Now the studies are done by the lost and Christian’s on both publishings of the statement.They all saw the stats and say it is true.
Now the lost have ground to try and separate God a little more from our society. With every raising stat and ever article they get more fuel for their war against God.
Should we be mad at them though? No!
Moral restraints on aggressive and sexual behavior are best reinforced by the family.It is our job to guide our family away from this type of life and toward God’s will for our lives.We are to blame.

So I read (in the book “Under God”)a little bit about this man who was an early leader, explorer, abolitionist, teacher,patriot,physician,and signer of the Declaration of Independence.He cured the deadly yellow fever epidemic in Philadelphia in 1793.It claimed four thousand lives in one hundred days. He studied day and night until he rediscovered a cure through old manuscripts. It is estimated that he saved six thousand lives.
He established five universities and colleges.In 1791 he founded the First Day Society,an early form of today’s Sunday Schools. He also helped establish America’s first Bible Society.
He is known has the Father of Public Schools, he called for free public school supported by a property tax.He also wrote a pamphlet giving a dozen reasons for the Bible to be the central text book in public schools.Ending the pamphlet…”We spend so much time and money in punishing crime yet so little pains to prevent them. We neglect the only means of establishing and perpetuating our republican forms of government;that is,the universal education of our youths in the principles of Christianity by means of the Bible…..equality among mankind…. respect for just laws…and sober and frugal virtues.”
Now this is how to leave a legacy. This man found truth and he held on to it. You have to respect that. I do. If we had the type of desire and love for God that he did then we would be able to accomplish goals beyond our wildest dreams. He did what he did with truth behind it. The times in which he lived may seem different but did he not face persecution from the Britain? Did God haters not assist? Did fighting for equal rights for all mankind at that time not cause an uproar( Slavery was very much alive in America at this time)?Was he family not in danger when he was away during the war?
Yes to all! We should strive to find faith like this man did. Remember Benjamin Rush.

Time alone.
Remember Martha from Luke 10:38-42. Well in case you don’t….
Jesus came to visit Martha and Mary in an undisclosed village on the way to Jerusalem. Martha invited Jesus in but once He came she got caught up in cooking this huge dinner. I mean after all Jesus is here.Wouldn’t you want to fix Him a meal fit for a king! Yeah me too. She gets frustrated though. She ask Jesus if it wasn’t unfair for her to do all the work while Mary just sit there with Him and asked Him to send Mary to help her cook.Jesus told her that you worry about things that don’t matter. Only one thing does. Mary as figured it out and it will not be taken away from her.
Now I recently made this statement at a Bible Study and got some rather uncomfortable looks “Martha is the typical Christian. She is too worried about things that are not really important.” So let me make my statement clear to you.
Prayers are not answered because we don’t pray because we don’t have time to pray. We don’t read our Bible because we are too busy. We don’t do God’s work because we focus too much on our work.It is not that important at all. Jesus is the only thing that does matter. This is why Moses had to go up the mountain, why the people had to wander in the wilderness, why we have an alter, why Jesus Himself went to pray alone. We need to let things be and trust God. If we are spending time with God then he will not let us fall. Time alone with God is something that we should work toward having. Make it a point to set yourself aside time for Him. Start small. Really. Start out with 15 minutes a day in complete peace talking and listening to God(read your Bible He will talk to you). Then once you realize that it is a must go for 30. Keep going until you break. Because Jesus is what counts. watch Him, wait for Him, spend time with Him, Love Him.

We have all heard the song. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound…..
You know this one but have you ever really thought about the words? Lets check out on verse. In the last verse it says……

This speaks to me. It is nice to know that eternity is what the Bible says it is…FOREVER. After being in heaven 10,000 years there are still endless days to worship our Lord. Think about it. Why I Believe.
I believe because a life with out God is a waste of a life. If life is all there is then that opens the door as to why we are here. I don’t believe that we are here to be a happy person for only a short time and then die. I can’t begin to tell you the sorrow that comes from just thinking this is it.
I believe because I see God. I read his word and know that what He said has been true in everything I have ever done. He wrote about my life and yours before we were ever born. Thousands of years ago the Bible was given to us and yet to this very day it remains true and not outdated. Yes the surroundings have changed but the truth and the principles are still true every bit today has they were then.
I believe because nothing else has put in my place like God has. He doesn’t play games. It is serious. Heaven or hell. Life or death. Good or evil. We have a choice to make and it is the biggest choice that we could ever imaging. God doesn’t play.
I believe because love is present. We don’t see it all the time but even in the darkest hours that we face. Even when people are killing each other because they can. If we look close enough we will see the love that God sends to us in every form. We are not capable of that, only God is.
To believe is to have faith that we are not just an big chain reaction that is the result of billions of years of evolution from creatures that are still present today(doesn’t make sense to me at least). Life is bad. People are cruel. To think that this is the only good that I will ever see is grounds for insanity. No I will believe. There is more. There is God.

Hurting for a Prayer
So I was thinking about prayer and how at times it seems stronger than others. So I had to sit down and think…”What is it that as separated my prayers in the past from the prayers I now pray?”
Answers began to pour into my small mind. I remember a time when sin was a big part of my life and I lived in it knowingly and did nothing to change it. Night after night I would I would prayer for to be forgiven for the same sins because I committed them over and over and over again. I felt so unworthy to pray. So after a while my prayer life was a crash scene of confusion. “I don’t know what to do..” I would pray. But I always knew then that my answer was to simply stop doing the sins that were making me feel like God hated to hear me coming. It was that simple. Yes I on occasion sin those same sins. The difference is that I do not do them and then say “Oh well I can pray for them tonight and they will be fine.” God hates sin. It separates us from God. God hears the prayers of the holy and to be in sin and not try to stop is going to take the power of our prayers down to little or nothing.
The next problem I thought of was when I started to pray I would not feel like God was really listening because I didn’t know how to pray right.
I prayed anyway. I forced myself at times to go before God and give plea my needs and those of others out to Him. After a while I was asked to lead prayer in the middle of the pod. It wasn’t long before big words were getting used in my prayer and others were praying aloud in agreement with me. I went to bed one night and before I went to sleep I had a friend tell me that I needed to be careful not take glory from my prayers. Others were counting on me to pray for and with them. I thought about what he had said and that night I tossed and turned. I saw myself in my mind standing before the pod and and praying loudly and using five dollar words.Then it hit me! God doesn’t care about those things. I did! I had to ask the leaders of the church to find some one else to pray before the people. My prayers were not to God but to praise myself. To this day hold back what I say when I pray aloud and that keeps me from getting caught up in pride. I love the spotlight. I have to work to put God first if I want to be able to pray with power. I am not able at this time to pray aloud like the Spirit tells me I can because I am vain. Limit your exposure and give it to God for prayers that move mountains.
The last thing I thought of was alot like the second problem. I just didn’t pray. I would be asked to pray for some and agree. I always intended to pray for them but never seemed to remember when I was on my face. Pray for them ,pray with them. Pray at all times of the day. you don’t have to let others see it you don’t have to disappear. Pray as you walk. Pray as you sit. Pray as you drive. Pray whenever you can. Watch you prayer life grow.

Prayer is like working out in the gym. You will start out small but with alot of reps you will soon get strong in what to pray for. You will be able to pray long and with more passion towards God then you ever knew you was capable of. Praying is talking to God. So sometimes after or before you pray get in word. Or just be still and don’t talk and focus on God. Listen for His voice. Prayer is only hurt when we fall short.

Fulfillment- (Premarital Counseling)
Don't you love that your wife or husband is the part that completes you. She or he makes you feel fulfilled. Right? Wrong my friend! You spouse cannot fulfill no more than you can fulfill yourself. Like when you go out and by stuff but you still need more stuff so you keep on buying and buying. It will never end. You cannot be satisfied. You will always want more than yo have. It is the same way with you wife our husband.
Lets break it down. Men your wife is going to fail you. She is going to disappoint you. Dinner may be bad one night, the house a wreck, the clothes not folded, or she may actually lie to you. Ladies your husband is going to want to watch the game while you are cleaning, he will fall asleep on you new couch with in a week, his socks will not be turned right side out when you go to wash them, and you know what...? We will forget on of those holiday's that you think we should be able to recite in our sleep(friendly joke, we should know those dates).
Here is my point. you are going to let each other down alot. If it is fulfillment you are looking for you should not hold you breath. Fir you will turn blue and pass out. Fulfillment is not deserved. We are deserving of hell because of our sins. God never sad that we should live a life of complete enjoyment.We are told of hardship and trials. If you want fulfillment you better find Jesus. Wow what a great verse I was given today.It made me think at first...
Does the Lord's love not go on through the night? I know better than that. So then I saw it, "at night His song is with me." Wow.
Ever witnessed a newborn in the arms of it's mother sleeping and she is singing a soft passionate song to the tiny child. That child who trust the mother to take care of it.The mother stares at the child and no words are need to let the child know that love is the words. The mother sings a song of such adoration and love that you feel loved just to be there.
How sweet a song does Jesus sing? Picture this as you lay down on your pillow and are wrapped in you sheets the Savior of the world is there to comfort you and give you rest. Singing a song to you. Be Cool
Yeah that is right. Just try to relax. I don't care who you are. Try being happy with where you are and what you are doing. Not every little detail of you day is going to change you life. Have some peace for once. SO often we get bent out of shape over bills, over children, neighbors, some even over work. I mean I know that is not you. Just relax. Life is too much of a blessing for you to be so exhausted. Just grab a book and smile at your life. It is not that bad.

A new trick
No nerd is complete in his training without learning how to make a light saber. Sure you can go and pay 115 bucks for express and do the same effect but I managed to make a light saber using the open source software called LightSaber maker by LS maker 0.967 Beta. You can make a light saber with The Gimp also but the quality is much better than the Gimp( seeing how it is what it is made for) You can also find the tutorials to use it in read me text format through notepad or you can you just go to you tube where they have flooded the place with how to videos. Below is the quality you will get on the first attempt and the second. I am sure once you tweak it a bit you will be be than I am.
Also you can do frame by frame to make you little brothers who stick fighting in the back yard look like young Jedi Knights. The interface on LightSaber maker is over whelming at first but it does get easy to navigate. All in all I would give it an 9.

Madden '08 for the Wii
I picked up the latest installment of the ever popular Madden football games. The main difference between this one and the other I have played is the interaction. The video gamer designers did a great job making this game work good with the advanced controls. The Wii has yet to let me down.
It is the same concept as the other Wii games. You snap the ball with hand movement, you throw it by slinging down your arm forward, you juke by moving the nunchuck right to left. All in all it was a difficult transition at first but after a couple of games I was running up the score.
It was my first football games for the Wii and I am not let down. I say go forth to your local store and give it try.

OFFENSE: Tennessee has one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC in senior Erik Ainge, who fought through injury last season to pass for nearly 3,000 yards and 19 touchdowns with only nine interceptions. While he is the unquestioned starter, sophomore backup Jonathan Crompton is a tremendous talent who will be hard to keep on the sidelines. Last season, receiver was a position of strength for the Vols. That does not appear to be the case heading into 2007, as the corps is rather young and inexperienced. That means tight end Chris Brown will be counted on heavily, at least early in the campaign. With three returning starters along the offensive line paving the way, the strength of the UT offense could be the ground attack. Sophomore LaMarcus Coker and junior Arian Foster are both more than capable of putting up strong numbers, and both were slated to see plenty of action until Coker was suspended indefinitely as he continues to work through some personal problems.
DEFENSE: Only five starters are back for on the Tennessee defense, and there are some concerns up front. The middle of the line will feature fresh faces, and it remains to be seen if they can live up to the standards of the outstanding tackles of 2006. The ends, Xavier Mitchell and Antonio Reynolds, are seniors who have the potential to be strong contributors. At the linebacker position, Jerod Mayo is fresh off a sophomore campaign in which he tallied 83 tackles, including five sacks. Verse of the Day-Philippians 1:21
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)
Amen! People who don't believe in Jesus don't get this. They call it silly. We have Paul telling us his thoughts on living and even better dying for Jesus. What a blessing. To return the favor of self sacrifice to the one who gave it to us around 2000 years ago. Wow!
Paul said to live is Christ and to die is to gain. What does that mean. Christ is the source of life. Yes it is true. Jesus is the only way in which we can enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Let me repeat that ..."Jesus is the ONLY way!" If we want to live we have to live for Christ. We have to let Him live in us and live to let Him shine through us. When we let that happen the Bible gives a few promises. We are about to focus on one of them right now though. People will hate us. Atheist will rise against us. The world we want us to be wiped out. Yeah that is a promise. It is a word from God. Because the world first hated Jesus we are told it will hate us for loving Him. It is true.
People have entire blogs, conventions, financial institution, schools, beliefs, bumper stickers, t-shirts,books, and plans to come against us. They plan out well thought false claims against us. This scripture is full filled everyday. Thank God for the blessing that we do not live in a restricted nation where communist beliefs are really pushed on people.Then all of us would be in trouble.
Back to the topic. Paul says that to die is to gain. Yes! To lose this life after living it for Christ is so much better. We have such a great place to go and serve God. No hate, no lies, nothing but pure praise and glory to God. Those who don't understand what it means to follow Jesus are so unaware of what happens if we die for Him. We need to really evaluate the cost. I think you find the price of following Christ is great in this life but to not follow Him brings forth eternal consequences that will torture us forever. I see only one good option. Even while I live I pray for the strength to lay down my life for Jesus. To give up all the foolishness in this world and focus on the truth makes me alive because the truth is Christ.

Should women be submissive?(From premarital counseling)
Colossians 3:18-Married women, be submissive to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. (WEY version)
Alot of women see this and they begin to cringe at what they think it means. Mean who are little boys take this scripture as giving them power of their wives. Our society has built the word submissive up to be this horrible word. The world views it as a bad thing.
Some husbands think it means they have this control and their wives should cook, clean, have dinner ready for them, and watch the children even after they are home. They see it has the woman being the less important or valued partner in the relationship. This is wrong and it is where we men have fallen short.
Yes the Bible tells us that woman should submit to us but it also tells us what we should be. We should be men of God, making wise choices in all aspects, fighters to survive and provide for our families, we should also be men that our wives love to follow and trust to make good choices.
Just because we are to be the ruler of the house doesn't mean that we are to be dictators. We should hear the opinion of our wives and take what they say into consideration. If it is the best choice to make then we should go with it. That is what we are missing. We are trying to be leaders who won't learn.
Our decision in our homes should be ours. Ultimately ours alone. That is not saying that if you wife has a better idea we shouldn't go with it but we should make the choice to go with it. That is called making the choices and making them wisely.
Now women don't think I am saying you should be slaves. Not at all. You are created by God for God. You are valued. It is a sad thing to know that so many men have lead you to believe that being submissive is being a slave. Thats not it. You role as being submissive is to all your husband to make the final choice. To stand by him and help him along the way. Your role is not to slave, have children, and then answer to him. You should be cherished. You would have no problem being submissive to someone who wants the best for you and your family. Some one who will lay down their life for you and fight to keep you by their side. I am so sorry that so few of you have seen this in a man. It was not intended to be this.
It is my prayer that we learn that our marriage is no complete and will not last with out seeing each other as important and not a lesser person. We are all created in God's image. We should treat each other with the same care we would want God to give us. By these "men" being sexist you have been robbed.
You task it has stated above. Stand by your man. Let him lead you. Trust him to care for you. Before you are married you should ask your self. Can I be submissive to this man? IS this the direction I want to go? Were is he wanting to lead me?

Christians love to sit on their hands...
Well we do. Every Sunday we go to church. Every Sunday we go through the motions. We say the same exact things over and over and over again. Like
"Most people come to church on Sunday's and leave it at here. You cannot even tell they are Christians."
"God knows what is in my heart."
"We all fall short."
or how about..
"I wish I could find the time to go and do mission work. You know go some where and help the children. It doesn't have to be big.Just maybe go downtown to the shelter and hand out some stuffed animals. I wish I could find time and the money to go do that. My schedule is so packed. Hey I meant to ask you, are we still on for golf this Saturday?I just got my new clubs. They cost an arm and leg but they are sweet."
Shame on us. Every Sunday we go into church with the same motivation to praise God as the week before. Which is hardly any if that. When it comes time to leave we leave it there.
So maybe you pray before you eat. You might read a couple of Bible verses. Lord you might even smile and say God bless you to all those you meet. That equals nothing most of the time. Most of the time we do it out of habit and not respect for each other and love for the Lord. Get off of your hands. Take you Golf clubs back to Dick's Sporting Goods. Go to Wal-mart and get your 300 dollar clubs.Take the other 1,000+ and go buy those stuffed animals. Do what you say.
Oh and m\one more thing. When you do go and start a ministry...STAY ON FIRE!! Don't forget why you started it. Keep going. If it seems like you may never have any help from any body in it then just stay the course. Take care of the children, visit the elderly, feed the homeless. Do your job. Show the love of Christ through live, new,fresh actions.Enough of the sitting on you pew and having events at church to bring people in. Go and and take Jesus to the streets.

The XO laptop
I have heard about this for a while but it is the first time I have ever watched the video of it. It operates on Linux, uses no hard drive on flash memory, and is weather resistant. It cost around 140 bucks to manufacture. It is clever and hopefully will serve it's purpose.

Why I won't buy a Mac...Nothing personal. Well yeah it is.
Apple makes some pretty cool things but when it comes down to it I chose not to buy a Mac or I phone. As much I love the I Phones features, Apple makes me say no. I do not like being told that no system is safe from viruses, hackers, or ad ware. Why? Because it is not.
You see you may have read an earlier post on here on how to keep your browsing safer. Not safe but safer. There is no browser that is safe from any of these issues. I love Firefox but it is not 100% safe. Nor is the mac's browser, IE, Opera, or any other browser you use.

To be safer from hackers switch to less used browsers. I chose Firefox but hey what ever you like use. Apple makes for cool gadgets and pretty machines. However if you ever want to tweak you system I hope you don't have a mac. You won't be tweaking anything. Third party applications? Forget about it. Hardware switches? If your lucky. They are non configurable. You get what you get when you buy a mac. Nothing more but nothing less(as they have good hardware).I won't buy a mac because they make false claims like they are safe from viruses.
If you want to be the safest you can then you probably will need to switch alot. Like going to Linux all the way and never looking back. That is a tough transition and it is one that will take you some time to work like you want it to work if you are not a programmer.
Also don't leave your personal information on your system if at all possible. Jump drives, external hard drives, Back up Cd's, and even the dying floppy disk are your best friend. Use strong pass words. Your name, address, birth day, and even full words are not good. If your name is James try using "J@m3$" That is not a full proof one but it is probably around 85% stronger. Use at least 8 keys and make them caps sensitive ( j-@-M-3-$). Now that will help you more than you will ever know.

I want to be.....
Three things in life I strive for....
1. A servant of God. I want to dedicate my life to Him. The most depressing thing to
me is that I fall short everyday. I know what I need to do but yet don't them .
That is my down fall. With reading the Word an understanding comes the
responsibility to obey what you read. I want to grow in my relationship with Jesus
and to overcome the sins that I hold onto. This is my top goal. To live a life
that is pure and holy and sanctified to the Lord for His liking is what will
help me to achieve the next two goals.
2. To be a provider for my family. I want to lead by showing my obedience to God.
To be the one who puts food on the table and makes wise choices to lead my family
into what ever direction they go. This is of the most importance to me. I see so
many people who do not hold up their commitment and really just sort of give
up at times. I don't want to be that man. I come from a family that uses
bankruptcy to get out of trouble. While it is sometimes unavoidable I do not want
to be the one to keep that tradition going.It starts with my family. It starts
with my finances, my lifestyle, and my choices. So I pray for guidance in this
area.

when they cannot get any sound or their PC won't come on. Yeah when their family
photos and other documents get trashed by the 12 year old they have who need some

"I'll Pray for You"- Not!

To shake the dust off our feet.
"If any household or town refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, shake the dust of off you feet as you leave." Matthew 10:14
If you have read the Gospels then you no doubt have heard this and even if you haven't you have no doubt heard some one say some version of this before. It is one of those scriptures that gets taken out of context alot.Most people take it has meaning to completely abandon the people or places who do not welcome your ways. This cannot be. Jesus instructs us to love every one. He teaches us through His actions that He has a distaste for sin but a love for everyone. We see this in Judas. He loved Judas and allowed Jesus to be with Him through out His ministry. If he meant to leave behind all those who did accept what we believed He would have never chosen Judas.
Judas remained a thief. The apostles knew this and so did Jesus. Jesus knew He would betray Him. He was self centered and only wanted what was good for Him. Yet Jesus let Him stay with Him and all the other apostles. He taught the apostles to shake the dust off of their feet. That includes the dust of Judas.
You see when He said dust he was using another parable. When people in those times would go into a town where they worshiped a pagan god they would shake off their feet as a symbolic refrence to them leaving the evil ways behind in the city. Do not worship their false gods, do not commit the sins they do. This is what Jesus was saying. If we go to a friends house and lets say they participate in drinking, drugs, or sex with out being married. We can still be their friends but we don't have to let their sins leave their house with us. We can leave that persons house and leave the sins them. Don't go do what they are doing. Leave the beer there, don't ask his girl's friend to come with you.
We do (and we have no choice in all cases) live in a sinful world and are close to sinful people. Just because they sin doesn't mean we have to do the same. Just because you boss cusses doesn't mean you have cuss. Judas didn't influence the others to betray Jesus or to steal because they knew that one persons sin should not be their own. Live your life holy and pure. You will fall short but don't live in sin. You will have to talk to friends and family who live a lifestyle you don't approve of. That in no way means you have to live that lifestyle. Just has the scripture of Matthew 10:14 does not give you the right to give up on people.

Why didn't Jesus write?
I was visiting a a blog today when I chose to fly over to another page. What I found there was interesting. You can read it here
. However if you are Christian you may want to hold off for about one hour before you comment. It is an open bash and one in which the very picture at the top of the blog made my blood pressure go up.
The post is call "Why didn't Jesus write?" and it deals with why Jesus didn't hand write anything in the Gospels. So lets go over a couple of reasons that he probably didn't write.
The first reason actually came from the blog's comment line.
1.“Jesus didn’t write anything because he knew people would worship his writings”
How true is this. If Jesus had written a sermon, letter, or just signed
something it would be like those small crosses people put in their
pockets. People would worship the writings and not the one who died for
them.It is not about the cross but the one who died for us on the cross.
If you have a cross in your pocket you need to ask why you have it.
Is a tool so you can remember the Lord is it becoming your god?
2. It would not be like God!
Through out the Bible you will find people who are of no authority used
by God like Paul, David, Gideon, Matthew, Mark , Luke, John, Esther, Ruth,
Moses, Joseph, Peter, Philemon, Titus,Daniel, and on and on.
Jesus wanted us to believe by faith. You don't think the Bible says that?
Once Thomas touched the Lord Jesus said "You believe because you have seen
me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me."John 20:29
That means faith to me. Faith is the substance of things hoped for but
not seen? Back to the topic. If Jesus had just written it then people
would be like oh yeah well of course Jesus wrote a Bible. Once the
apostles wrote it through God's inspiration though people were
blown away. These guys are common folks! Not great teachers!
This must be God leading them. You see my point.

HE LEFT HEAVEN FOR US!!!! HE WAS BEATEN AND BROUGHT UP ON ILLEGAL CHARGES,
IN AN ILLEGAL COURT PROCESS, BEFORE THOSE HE LOVED AND LIVED TO DIE FOR.

Apollogy for a lack of research.
I had a friend of mine about a year ago who came to me with a page that he claimed to have written for himself. It involved evolution and several key points against it. I never thought twice about it. Until recently we talked of it again and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't until about two days ago that I posted it on my site.
He had told me it was okay. Looking back on it I see that for him the entire thing was somewhat of stretch. He is alot like me. While he can do alot of things really good, grammar, spelling, and proof reading do not rank as one of them. I none the less took his word for it. Thinking that it had been wrote by him after intense studying. More the less facts that he had learned that had been placed together. I am not mad at him and have already forgiven him. Here is how I found that the page was not his own.
After I posted the blog another blogger who's page I enjoy wrote me about it. He wanted to use it and I was fine with that. I went to his page today only to find that he had posted it but only through a different source(which is fine except what it lead to mean). The actual writer of the post. My friend has just grabbed pen and paper and wrote about 9 pages of someone's work. A man named Kevin Martin at http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Evolution%20Hoax/evidences.htm

Before I post anyones work on my page I should check it out throughly to find that all the sources are credited with their work. That is with any blogger. I moved to blogger from a very good, well established blog for a reason. I wanted to be able to write on a page about things that interest me and peope like me. The people there were much more intelligent than I am. I wanted my blog to be for those who don't work well with big words( big words are great but sometimes you don't feel like looking a;; the words up. I am now learning what my friends at the other blog have already learned.
Research and consistency go a long way. A spelling error can be overlooked alot quicker than a mistaken post.So my friend apologized to me and now I do the same to you. The post will now be linked to these two sites above. Enjoy the post. I know I did.

The HP Pavilion HDX
This is a serious notebook that was picked for me to use. I am curious why people didn't vote for the ASUS. However I a fan of HP. I think (in my personal opinion that HP makes one of the best home, office, or media pc's on the market. Price wise that is. I have owned three. The first was a Pavilion 1210ze Entertainment Notebook. It was okay for internet browsing which is what I wanted it for.
The next was a more recent Pavilion Dv6000 Budget Notebook. It was a very impressive notebook with a super nice screen(15.4) I was impressed but didn't need it for my early experiments that were soon to follow.It was however a great buy for under 1g.
I now have a Pavilion a305w desktop. It has been tweaked alot and is still standing. Although I do not use the standard monitor. I use a TriGem 15. It does what I want it to.
None of those however compare to the Pavilion HDX in no way. You might say why would he need a notebook that size for school? You guys voted and this was the winner. So here are the specs of the notebook that I will be ordering shortly.

Unnecessary Blasphemy

I give you all a new commandment!
So, lately I have been writing alot about love and marriage and personal matters. I got to thinking alot yesterday about love and a thought that I had thought before came to mind. It is from the scripture....
"So now I am giving you a new commandment, Love each other. Just I as I have loved you,You should love each other." John 13:34 (Words of Jesus)
No when I first heard this scripture it didn't strike me as weird. It was only after a while that I saw something. This is not a new commandment. We have always been told to love each other. Every one knows that.
So what is this. The Bible does not contradict itself! What is this?
And then it hit me. Just like so many other things that Jesus did while He was here He changed some thing in the previous commandment. He is the reason for the fulfillment of the law and though it is unspoken I take from this scripture that He is the one who revolutionized love. Jesus did not say that love was the new concept now did He?
The way we view love and the way that He created love is a different thing. Our love screams out what can you do for me and how soon can you do it? Then we have Jesus who tells us that our love is not good enough. We need to follow His example. Jesus was the light of the world in all aspects. Mainly love. We were created for love, by love, to love. When Jesus came and laid down His life for us He should us love. To be a Christian means that yo have to give up certain things and those that we hold on to make pour love of nothing.
Our love until the time of Jesus was the law. Keep it and you were a friend. Violate it and you would face server punishment if not death. Jesus says no with this comment that He makes. Jesus yells to us to forgive other, show mercy, help people.Do what your part is in God's plan and things will go alot smoother for. The main thing is follow the examples of Jesus and not the laws that kept us from seeing the end this world and the new of another. Show peace, mercy, and charity. That goes along way to getting back to right with love.

Tomorrow.
I will not be posting any blog on Friday August 3, 2007. I want to take time away from my PC and think of the better things in life. Like oh say, life it self.
On a day like today I am certain that I will remember the tragic events that took place in Minneapolis. It is a said thing happened. I am certain that I will remember it like I did the day 9/11 happened, like Columbine, like Oklahoma city, or more recently Virgina Tech.
It may not have as high as a death toll as some of those but what is to be remembered is that it is one of those days were people are shocked. We say this shouldn't happen. What went wrong? Why did this happen? If you are like me you believe in the redeeming power of Jesus Christ and all the truth that the Bible speaks about. The said part is this. People are lost. People die that are lost. There is eternal life and it is one or the other, really good or really bad. Once you have no more life it is too late. No take backs, no re dues, no I wasn't ready. Life is serious.
We have blessings in this. A school bus with I think I heard around 50 kids on it fell with the bridge and all were alive. Only two lanes of the bridge were open. We see blessings in this. Even though the sorrow covers our eyes we can still see it could have been worse. Alot of people were spared. Thank you Jesus for that.
I pray that we not point fingers at what went wrong when we find out the cause of this all. I pray that we learn to love each other so that we can forgive.Not the type of love we know(the feeling of love) but the very action of love. Loving some one or something even though you are angry or sad.
Sadly this does happens. Lets not just say too bad, or 9/11 was worse. I about cried when they killed Saddam. I went to a "Christian website" were a the blog owner had posted the video and placed a caption under it reading this....
"Lets see if those 72 virgins come to save him from hell!lol."
How terrible are we? We should all be grief stricken.Yet the world was rejoicing! Saddam died. He went to hell. He never, ever, ever accepted Jesus. When we cheer for that we cheer for satan. When we are not affected by the death of the eternally lost we are saying to satan that we don't care. There is no love in us. Wake up guys! Lets fight for the lost. Lets mourn for those who won't be going inside the gates.
Jesus wept and so should we. If not with tears then with the spirit we are blessed with. Realize that everyday is a gift. We have a task to do. Preach the gospel so people do not die in sin. One day when I get to heaven I will look around and I know there will be people I lived with my whole life that I don't see there with me. I fear that I will find out that the very man I worked beside for 10 or 15 years will not be in heaven and I had the chance 5 to 6 days a week to sow a seed. How accountable am I? Completely if I never try.
With that said I am taking tomorrow off of has much as possible to praise God and to pray to him to allow me to serve him better. To serve others better. I am about to write a short prayer on this post and I ask that you pray it with me, for me, you , and any other who reads this or needs this( that would be everyone I know). When you are done you can comment to say amen, add on more to the prayer, or not do anything after you pray. Even if you don't agree with everything I said or have ever said you can pray this one with me.Thank you and God bless you.

Dear Heavenly Father. Thank you so much for this life. Everyday is truly a blessing. I pray that you give the family s of those who died today comfort in your arms. I know that all things work together for the good and I just pray that whatever reason you allowed this to happen for, that you allow us to see the good and obey your will even when we don't understand. Please use this to lead others to you.Open the eyes and the hearts of lost. Recharge my spiritual battery and let me do your will here on earth. Thank you so much. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Love is not enough.
Why is love not enough to hold a marriage together? I know, I know some of you die hard kids are out there reading this saying that love is enough. I would have said that to until at my meeting tonight that my Pastor told me and my girlfriend that love was not enough, kids are not enough, money is not enough, and looks are not enough.
Lets start with looks. Looks change. You don't know what your husband or wife will look like in 10,15, or 20 years. Not only that but has much has we shouldn't say this....You can always find some one who you think is prettier. Yeah thats true. If you are with someone over time you begin to forget why you were so attracted to them. Looks change and you perception of how people look changes.
Money is not enough. Money comes and goes. You have ups and downs. Some people split up because they have too much money. Some split up because they don't have enough. Money has been proven top be one of the biggest reasons for a divorce.
Are kids enough? No not in anyway. How many time have you heard it said,"If not for the kids I would leave him/her!"? I know of one of my friends that says it all the time. If kids were enough then people wouldn't say that, because they wouldn't think that. Once the kids leave the nest or another nest for you all comes along it will be the end of the marriage.
Lastly is love. Lets be blunt. Love from us is simply a feeling. Feelings do not keep a marriage together. If you don't love each other so what(another thing the pastor said)? It doesn't matter. feelings come and go.
Your marriage is a commitment. You both said till death. If you fall out of love that does not change your commitment to each other. It means you should work harder to find out how to complete your commitment. Never give up.
50% percent of marriages in the Baptist church ends in divorce. That means half of the people that God blessed gave up on that blessing(your husband/wife) when they were tired of it. I am at a loss for words. We have to do better to stop trying to rip apart what God has for us and to let it all work together. Bottom line people, If you say I do. Mean it. If not then never say it.

Science Must Acknowledge a Creator to Hold to the Big Bang
We are told, by the definition of The law of conservation of mass/matter, that “matter cannot be created nor destroyed, although it may change form.” It has been noted that “Matter can become energy, and energy can become matter, but always according to e=m2.” And it is noted that, the “Law of Conservation of Energy states: Energy cannot be created or destroyed.”
So there is a problem with the Big Bang.
Where did all of the matter/energy originate from, since the Big Bang could neither create nor destroy matter/energy?
